Robin Johnson (Designer, Author and Tutor)

Robin Johnson is certainly one of the industry’s most recognized and respected designers and authors having worked with and for Autumn Leaves, Pixie Press and Making Memories.

Her contribution to publications include the “Designing with…“ series from Autumn Leaves, the “Beyond…“ series from Making Memories and other publications such as Simple Scrapbooks. With a degree in Graphic Design, winner of the Hall of Fame in 2000, Robin now has her own studio (Starlit Studio) and teaches nationally and internationally.


Jennifer Ditz McGuire (Designer, Author and Tutor)

Jennifer Ditz McGuire, has had numerous pieces of work published in various scrapbooking magazines and idea books and is well known for her contributions to the Designing with... series. A recent contribution to the series is Designing with Stamping - content from which will feature in her classes.

A 2002 Creating Keepsakes Hall of Famer, she has been scrapbooking and stamping for about three years. Jennifer is also addicted to rubber stamping and frequently includes stamping techniques in her scrapbook designs. She currently works as a designer for Hero Arts and Autumn Leaves.

Christina Buckley (Designer, Tutor)

Christina Buckley joined the KiwiScraps Team in 2004 as a Tutor.
Her scrapbooking is fueled by a passion to document everything from behind the lens. It is the creative outlet she has always been seeking. She enjoys experimenting with many different styles and loves the variety that brings to her scrapbooks. She loves anything that adds texture and different dimensions to her work and is a self-confessed perfectionist.
Christina is developing two already popular series of classes at KiwiScraps. The first, the “Quick and Classy” series, is layout driven and involves memories of all sorts, whether they be vacations, personal achievements, or the often overlooked family pets. Additionally she is creating a digital curriculum for KiwiScraps.
Christina is currently working on a certificate in digital media and design.

The Crafting Connection 2005 is an educational event where International and New Zealand's own most respected Tutors come together for an event of a calibre possibly not seen "down-under" before!

The Crafting Connection is supported by many of the Scrapbooking industries most innovative manufacturers who are providing extensive product and materials support.

Classes will commence at 12pm Friday 12th August and conclude at 2.30pm Sunday 14th August

Classes will be held (primarily) at the Intercontinental Hotel & Conference Centre with a small number at the KiwiScraps Store. Shuttle Buses will operate between the two venues daily.

EVENT CLASS REGISTRATION

For those who are not able to enjoy a greater level of participation in Crafting Connection 2005, individual classes are available and allocations will be made following those for both Full and Mini-Event Registrations.

Registrations are being accepted now! Allocation and confirmation/charging of classes is unlikely to be made for this registration type until mid-June and will be made in order of receipt of registration. Those registering for just Event Classes are not eligible for other aspects such as refreshments, spot prizes etc

PAYMENT OPTIONS

The Crafting Connection 2005 is all about inspiration, education, sharing and fun!

We want to assist as many to attend as possible and offer the following payment options to assist make this happen!

FULL EVENT REGISTRATION

Deposit $85 with two subsequent payments of $100 each. (Includes a $5 administration fee). Subsequent payments due 30 June and 28 July. If registering post-30 June the Deposit required is $185 with a subsequent payment due 28 July.

MINI-EVENT REGISTRATION

Deposit $40 with two subsequent payments of $50 each. (Includes a $5 administration fee). Subsequent payments due 30 June and 28 July. If registering post-30 June the Deposit required is $90 with a subsequent payment due 28 July.

OTHER REGISTRATIONS

Payment will be required at the time of confirmation for Event Classes and Mega-Crop

 

Tracy White (Editor in Chief - Creating Keepsakes)

Tracy White joined Creating Keepsakes in 1997 and has set a high standard for editorial excellence, direction and leadership. As editor-in-chief since 1998, she has had overall editorial responsibility for Creating Keepsakes and its vast line of products.
Personally Tracy offers inspiration for journaling, photography and innovative scrapbooking techniques in her articles and workshops offered internationally. She teaches at CKU and events and has appeared on television.
In addition to regular contributing articles, Tracy has recently authored The Journaler’s Handbook: Everyone Has a Story.

Wendy Redshaw (Designer, Author and Tutor)

Wendy Redshaw joined the KiwiScraps Team in 2002 and now as Tutor Manager specialists in conducting cutting edge paper craft techniques classes. As a professional tutor Wendy inspires others through her skill and passion to achieve exceptional levels of creativity whilst preserving their memories. Her creation of books and an affinity for many of the altered arts has established Wendy as having a reputation for the adaptation and use of many nontraditional products in her work. Wendy is currently a member of the KiwiScraps Design Team and not surprisingly she has recently been recognized in the 2005 For Keeps, “Awards for Excellence” in Australia – winning the Excellence in Creativity Award. Her work is also about to be published in an international resource book.


Faye Gregory (Designer, Author, Tutor)

Faye Gregory’s association with KiwiScraps commenced in 2001 when she began establishing and managing the KiwiScraps Consultant network.

Her passion for the shabby/collage look with extensive texture soon established her as a popular tutor in constant demand across the KiwiScraps customer base and Consultant network.

Faye has had layouts and content published within Creating Keepsakes, the Becky Higgins Creative Sketches, Simple Scrapbooks, Scrapbooking Memories (Aust.), For Keeps (Aust) and Up2Scrap (NZ). Faye has just completed a term on the first For Keeps Design Team and she is a current member of the KiwiScraps Design Team as well as that of Up2Scrap (NZ).
