and crafter, she enjoys the challenge to infuse
her designs with heartfelt energy, beauty, and
a pinch of the unexpected.

Title:
"SEW THIS ONE THING....."
Description:
What if you had a little birdie perched
on your shoulder....and that little birdie could
whisper ONE WORD into your ear? What one word
would that be? What is the one word you most
need to hear? Join me in exploring "this
one thing" in a textile way...we will stitch
and doodle our way to self-discovery! We will
be creating a 12"x12" page for our
Freestyle Album. Bring an 8"x12" self-portrait,
cropped to include your shoulder in some way.
(So the little birdie can sit there and whisper
to you....)

"WEAVING MY WAY TO CONSTANCY"
Descripton:
This page is packed full to the brim with texture
and dimension and inky, sore fingers!!! (Now,
THAT sounds like my kinda page!)
We will be creating an 12" x 12" page
for our Freestyle Album that incorporates hand-stitching
with fabric strips, stamping and hand-stitching
on vellum, and a felt flower explosion...all
in the name of creativity! Come prepared with
a 5x7 Self Portrait, and a list of some Constant
Goals you have in your life....those things
you live everyday to achieve constancy in! :)
Bring
to Class: Basic tools, Paper Piercer,
Black Marker, Small and Medium Glue Dots, 3-D
Foam Adhesive.

Title:
"THE WHOLE ENCHILADA"
Description:
The Story Behind The Photo. We all have them...memories
embedded in the background of our pictures.
Memories of Aunt Mary's horrid couch pattern,
the coffee table with the chip in it from rough
housing with siblings long ago, the shirt we
loved to wear every day when we were 8 years
old.....those small pieces of memories all pieced
together in one seemingly insignificant photo.
This album will explore them all! We will use
ONE photo. One. I know...it sounds crazy. BUT.
That one photo will need to be enlarged and
CROPPED several different ways in several different
places on those pieces of the photo that hold
those pieces of memory. Then each page of the
book will explore those separate memories.....and
there you have it: The Whole Enchilada!
Bring
to Class: Basic
Tools, Glue Sticks, Ribbon Glue, Medium Glue
Dots, Stapler/Staples, Black Marker, Grey Marker,
White Gel Pen, 1 page torn from an old book
rich with text.
